Ranch raised cattle with proven genetics perfected over the last century. Our original herd and bulls came from the Noah's Angus Ranch program in Cambridge, ID, which is now a fourth generation Angus seed stock producer... family owned and operated since 1955. The Heath family, at Bear Creek Ranch, is now in its fourth generation of being involved in the Black Angus cattle industry as well.

until the Indians ran him out. Then in 1914,
new folks built this barn and a shiplap house
from timber on the ranch.

How to find our ranch...
Bear Creek Ranch is located in the heart of the Blue Mountains.
Easy to get to, just nine miles NW of La Grande on Hwy 84,
exit 252 west for four miles to the Bear Creek Crossing.
The latest generation of BCR cattle. These cattle have great dispositions, as you can see. Their great genotypes and phenotypes make these cattle easy to look at and easy to handle. (photo taken: 08/4/10)
The next generation of BCR females. This beautiful set of yearling heifers represent the quality genetics in our breeding program. We turned our heifer bull in with them on June 10th. These 28 heifers are available for purchase by private treaty.
